The Lebanese Cabinet approved a draft decree to establish the Higher Council for Special Economic Zones for Technology Industries, as part of efforts to implement Law No. 2 of 9 May 2025. The proposed council would regulate these zones, assess the creation of new ones, and determine the activities and projects permitted within them.
