Dr Hassan Dannawi, Chairman and General Manager of the Tripoli Special Economic Zone, announced that the authority intends to launch an international tender in June to select an operator to manage the project site under a long-term contract. The announcement was made during an economic forum in Tripoli, convened at the invitation of Tawfiq Daboussi, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Tripoli and North Lebanon, which addressed the role of public facilities in supporting an integrated national economic and logistics system.
