The Qatar Free Zones Authority and Emerson signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding during a special edition of the Qatar Economic Forum held in New York in conjunction with the 2026 United Nations General Assembly. The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation in industrial automation and technical services, establish a regional operations centre in Qatar’s free zones to support the industrial and energy sectors, and contribute to localising expertise and technologies and developing Qatari talent.
