The Tripoli Special Economic Zone, represented by its Chairman, Dr Hassan Dannawi, participated in the official Lebanese government delegation that visited the United Arab Emirates as part of a programme to learn from UAE expertise in government development, economic and investment growth, the management of free zones, ports and logistics services, as well as digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
The visit enabled the delegation to examine advanced models for managing ports and free zones, attracting investment, facilitating business, and connecting economic zones to global trade and logistics networks. It included meetings and field visits with leading economic and logistics organisations, including DP World and the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), supporting knowledge exchange, opportunities for cooperation, and the development of services for investors in the Tripoli Special Economic Zone.
