The Suez Canal Economic Zone continues to attract industrial, service and logistics investments, benefiting from its geopolitical and strategic location and its connection to one of the world’s most important shipping routes. Over the past four years, the zone has contracted new projects in its industrial areas and seaports with total investments of approximately $16.4 billion, allocating around 21.3 million square metres of land for them. Once fully implemented, these projects are expected to create more than 145,000 direct jobs, while supporting manufacturing and exports to regional and global markets.
