Qatar has launched the “Companies House” as a unified authority for registering companies and licensing their activities across several economic zones, including the Qatar Financial Centre, the Qatar Free Zones Authority, Qatar Science and Technology Park, and Media City Qatar. The Companies House will also maintain public registers, provide tax and immigration services, and verify compliance with labour standards and data protection requirements, thereby facilitating business establishment and enhancing the competitiveness of Qatar’s investment environment in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
